Opening Day Thud

The Texas Rangers couldn’t have thought their Opening Day game against the Philadelphia Phillies would go any worse than it did on Monday afternoon.

We react to their 14-10 football score loss on Monday, Tanner Scheppers’ tough first start of his big league career, the concerns throughout the pitching staff, and what to expect the rest of this week.

We also break up the baseball talk any welcoming in Texas Tech head coach Kliff Kingsbury and we talk Johnny Manziel, the hypothetical idea of him landing with the Dallas Cowboys and when was the last time a Heisman Trophy winner did anything of substance in the NFL?

***We had some audio issues with the show tonight. We apologize in advance if this audio is tough for some to listen to. We’ll have it figure out and back where it should be next week.***
