J.P. Arencibia a Texas Ranger?

According to Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports, the Texas Rangers are closing in on a deal to bring in catcher, J.P. Arencibia.

The parameters of the deal are not known yet.

Arencibia had a rough season in 2013, hitting just .194 in 474 plate appearances for the Toronto Blue Jays.
