Scouting: Justin Little, LB, Lindale HS

There’s something in Justin Little that most don’t see. But that’s ok, because we do. (Image:

Name: Justin Little

Height: 5’10”

Weight: 170

School: Lindale HS (Lindale, TX)

Class: 2018

Scouting Report: As the 2017 season nears, it’s time for Justin Little to come out of the large shadow that was cast by departing linebacker Kale Ridge who had a big time season for Lindale in 2016. With Ridge now headed off to continue his football career in college, you will see start seeing the name Justin Little on your radar very soon.

He has continued to improve, has great field vision, keeps the play in front off him, has great closing speed on the quarterback on a blitz, and is a very physical player. While coaches may balk at his size, I wouldn’t use that against him before they get a chance to actually attend a practice or see this young man in action. This is his last season and he should be one of the top defensive players for Lindale. Say what you want about East Texas, Little is anything but his last name.
