There is some serious potential in Tatum RB Cedric White (Image: Michael Alfaro,

Name: Cedric White

Height: 5’9″

Weight: 160

School: Tatum HS (Tatum, TX)

Class: 2018

Scouting Report: Let me be honest about Cedric White from watching his film right off the bat. He’s not going to be one of the most explosive running backs you’ll see on film and he’s not going to light up the highlight reels.

With that being said I think White has several different abilities that I think a lot of college coaches would like. Watch his patience as he finds the open holes, not just running into the fray hoping he finds a sliver of light. White also does have a good burst of speed once he does hit those holes and it makes it hard for defenders to assume his direction and then try to run him down.

I think he’s a really good talent and I think he’s someone that has really good field vision. The speed is there, the ability is there, and with one more season to really refine who he is as a player I think there’s going to be a college coach somewhere that is going to really like what they see.
