Tripp McAda, 2020 QB/OLB, Sunnyvale HS

Tripp McAda (right) has the makings of an incredibly talented player especially if continues to improve over the next two years.

There is an athleticism about Tripp that I really like. I like his ability to be a dual threat quarterback but what I like the most is his ability to keep his eyes down field whether it’s looking for a receiver or finding the open running lanes when he has the football in his hands. He knows where his blockers are, he knows how to make guys miss, and he has the kind of arm that a quarterback of his size needs to have to be able to make the throws coaches will ask him to make. I think he’s got big potential especially with two high school years left to improve what he already has.
