Shareef Carela, 2020 DE, Trinity HS

Trinity's Shareef Carela is one of the better defensive ends you're going to see and proves it on film (Image: Hudl.com)

When I look for a defensive end that I like, I look for a guy with quickness on the edge, a guy who can wrap up well, and a guy who can beat just about any offensive lineman he’s across from with his upper body as well as his speed.

You’re going to find all those things in Shareer Carela, 2020 defensive end out of Trinity High School. Whether he has his hands on the ground or he’s coming from a standing position, his explosiveness makes him tough to deal with and a tough guy to keep out of the backfield.

He’s another one of those super sophomores to keep an eye on.
