When you talk about a “Super Sophomore” there are any number of images that come into your mind. But let me describe what you’re going to see in sophomore running back Clarence Dalton out of Galveston Ball High School in Galveston, Texas. You’re going to see a player who is incredibly athletic, a guy who keeps his legs moving even after contact, and a back who is incredibly hard to bring down. The first play on the film sums up the kind of back that you’re going to see the next two years and by the time he hits his senior season he’s going to have a number of college coaches knocking on his door.
