Jorge Mortera, 2019 DE, Tuloso-Midway HS

Jorge Mortera (62) might be flying under a lot of radars, but he's got the ability and motor to be a talented player at the next level.

There is very little I don’t like about this junior defensive end out of Tuloso-Midway HS in Corpus Christi, Texas. He’s got a big upper body and gets a huge push off the snap of the ball that makes it hard for opposing lineman to keep him out of the backfield. Not only that, he’s a guy that when he does get back there that he is really good at wrapping up. Whether he’s got his hands on the ground or is coming off the edge, this is an extremely talented defensive lineman who is going to get his share of attention with a big senior season.
